February Wrap Up-Quality Over Quantity

Hello! Today I’m wrapping up my  stressful, yet amazing month. I’m keeping the intro short and sweet, so let’s get into it.

I only read 3 books this month, but I enjoyed most of them, so that’s good. Quality over quantity, right? (I feel like I say this every wrap up post). These are the three books I read:

  • SALT. by Nayyirah Waheed: 3.5/5 stars. This poetry book was powerful and so needed and important, but I wasn’t the biggest fan of the poetry style.
  • FAR FROM YOU by Tess Sharpe: 5/5 stars. Recovering drug addict, bisexual, disabled main character AND a double murder mystery? YES PLEASE!
  • A GATHERING OF SHADOWS by V.E. Schwab: 5/5 stars. I’m obsessed with this trilogy. It’s so so so amazing. If you haven’t read it yet, please do so asap.

Unfortunately, I was low on my amount of blog posts I got up, too. I *still* haven’t reached my 2017 resolution of getting 5-8 posts up a month, but I think March could be the month! Here are the posts I did get up:

If you look at my bookstagram, I did pretty good! I didn’t participate in any photo challenges which caused me to miss posting because of stress, but I’m very proud of how active I’ve been there lately. 🙂

Honestly, February was hot and cold. The start of the month started out terrible, then it got amazing for the week I was in Hawaii, then it went back to terrible when I got home. I just had a lot of unexpected medical problems in February, and the added stress of missing school because of hospital appointments just threw me into a funk. I’m slowly getting out of it, but it’s going to be tough. My life is never very interesting, plus I have to keep some stuff private so I can share them on my new Thursday Thoughts posts! 😉

How many books did you read in February? What books were your favourite? Let me know in the comments!

Bye bye for now,

  1. Yes, quality over quantity for sure!! I know you loved AGOS, so I’m beyond excited to hear your thoughts when you finish ACOL. And I hope everything works out for you, medically and otherwise! ❤️😊
